I sent a piece to New Orleans for 'Its Yours, Take It!'. The idea behind 'It's Yours, Take It' is a simple one, trying to make art more accessible to the general public. It involves a group of world wide artists sending their work to be displayed at impromptu street galleries that are created in a public space. Each piece of art is available to take home by a member of the public for free. Events have already taken place in, Tel Aviv (Israel), Southport (UK), Chicago, Honolulu(USA), Tempe (USA), Phoenix (USA), Coffs Harbour (Australia), Winnipeg Manitoba (Canada), New Orleans(USA) , Singapore, Boston (USA). So far, the response from artists who give their work freely and from people who haven taken art from the shows has been overwhelmingly positive.
